Temple Melville
Temple Melville is a multi-sector businessman and a London School of Economics graduate. He has written a book on Blockchain titled ‘Blockchain, Bitcoin And You' and was an early adopter of Bitcoin. He came to Scotcoin during 2014 and is a strong advocate both of the blockchain, decentralised currencies and for regulation for cryptocurrencies.
David Low
David is a Scottish based businessman. He is Chairman of Lowdit Partners, a family investment office with interests in sports and leisure, blockchain and digital currency technologies and asset trading platforms. He has been a digital currency investor for 10 years and in 2016 acquired a substantial interest in Scotcoin. He is also an active investor in the social and ethical spaces.
Peter McGowan
Peter has had a successful business career in electrical and environmental, compliance and safety. He is a keen sports fan and a supporter of numerous community facing projects in Scotland and the rest of the UK. He is longtime corporate sponsor of the Ups 'n Downs and Travers Foundation charities. He has been a supporter of Scotcoin for over five years.
Advisory Panel
Scotcoin has been working hard to bring together its advisory panel and is delighted to announce that it now boasts an impressive collection of individuals who collectively have over 100 years experience in blockchain, finance, sustainability, cryptocurrency, HR and senior management – this team will provide invaluable insight, guidance and stewardship to the development of the project going forwards.
Douglas Drummond
Since the dawn of the Internet, Douglas has been building websites and apps for companies, clubs and charities. Bringing over 20 years commercial experience with online projects ranging from small startup user bases to national and global enterprises with public facing assets. His expert knowledge in myriad internet technologies spanning multiple industries and client types helps him advise Scotcoin on best practices all the way from conception to delivery.
Paul McLeary
Paul is 47 years old. He has had a successful and varied career, latterly in senior management and high level technical situations. He is both an exceptional engineer and fully qualified IT and WiFi specialist. He is a lateral thinker who will bring leadership and management skills where needed to the Scotcoin Project.
Nikola Kelly
Nikola Kelly is a technology and professional services entrepreneur and the latest addition to The Scotcoin Project CIC advisory panel. She has almost 20 years experience in the tech sector and is currently CEO of the Be-It Group for which she completed an MBO in March ’23. She sits on the panel of Career Ready - a social mobility charity and is a respected speaker on female and neuro diverse representation in the tech sector.
Edward Crozier
Edward has a long and successful career in financial services, theatre and sport. He is a former director of Glasgow Life and of Castlight Financial and a past President of the Scottish Rugby Union and board member of Scottish Opera. He is currently Chair of the Theatre Royal Glasgow and a trustee of Scottish Opera Endowment Trust. He is vice chair of Glasgow Lunchtime Theatre, one of Europe’s most prolific theatrical production companies. He was educated at St Aloysius College Glasgow and Glasgow University’s Business School.

HACKEN AUDIT DELIVERS TOP RATING FOR SCOTCOIN
The code audit for the Scotcoin smart contract has been carried out by Hacken (hacken.io). The audit resulted in the award of a top rating placing Scotcoin at the very top of Hacken’s grid system.
The classification is described as ‘well secured.’
Hacken themselves are a leading global cyber security company with a focus on blockchain security. Hacken Cyber Security services is part of the Hacken Group, which Includes CER.live, HackenAI, HackenProof. CER.live is the cybersecurity data provider for CoinGecko (www.coingecko.com)

Etherscan has verified Scotcoin, an ERC20 token, under the name ‘SCOT’.
